Mfoudi III : Electoral Commission Members strategize

In a bid to come out of the ongoing renewal process of the basic organs with flying colours, the electoral commission for Mfoundi III in Efoulan met to nurture ideas.

The planning meeting presided at by the President of the commission Hon. Roland Pangmashi, took place on Monday August 16. During the sitting, members did and evaluation of the state of affairs in the section and set goals for the days ahead. One of the prime objectives of the meeting was to ensure that they do not go in dispersed ranks during the election.
Sub section presidents at the sitting briefed commission members on their work on the field. This to enable them plan for the right date and time to make field trips.
This meeting came after the official handing over of the political directory to the President by the section president André Mama Fouda on Monday 9 during the launching of the operation in the Mfoundi III.
In their exchanges on Monday 16, in a hall at the Efoulan council, members gave ideas as to how best to carry out work on the field.
The Commission President encouraged them to work as a team and to stick to the prescriptions given by hierarchy.
They were also reminded to shun squabbles and to refer to the party’s basic text in case of doubts.
Mfoundi III has always been a CPDM stronghold, and the growth of the party in the section has been steadily progressive. The section has grown from six sub sections to twelve.
At the end of the commission’s planning meeting, a calendar for visits to sub sections was established.
In addition, during the meeting the WCPDM section president, Sidonie Ndemba reassured members of her willingness to continue to mobilise women to participate massively.
It was reiterated that all militants must be in possession of their cards and the grass root authorities were encouraged to keep registering militants.
Members also agreed to improve on communication strategies in order to ensure that any information passed should reach every militant within the expected time.
The meeting ended with members concluding that the first field trips will commence on August 22 with Afanoyo and Ahala sub sections. On the 23rd, the commission goes to Obobogo and Efoulan. Obili and Ngoa Ekelle will receive the commission on the 24th and the trips will continue to the other sub sections, as the sub section presidents will indicate their readiness.
