The section president, Israel Nembo Ketu has galvanised the various sub sections executives, the youths and women wings to establish a plan of action.
To ensure that victory continue to reign for the CPDM party in Lebialem III section, Wabane, the new section executives headed by mayor Israel Nembo Ketu is already putting forth strategies to hold the party in tact after a brilliant election. In this light, the has been the coordination of various subsections and the youths and women wings for a plan of activities to be put forth. Failure to plan is planning to fail, reasons why such activities remain very necessary for any successful organisation. To ensure that the party remain solid and United in the section, all the stakeholders need to put hands on deck. With the notion that there is usually disgruntlement after any electoral process, the section president has taken the commitment to reconcile the camps that felt cheated, by bringing all on board.
The section president said” Wabane has always and will continue to be the bastion of the CPDM. There is no opposition party in our area. The section president, the Senator for Lebialem and the Honorable Minister Paul Tasong who is our political leader are one. This makes the running of the party very easy. As an old and experienced section president and mayor, I think this new mandate is an opportunity for us to train the younger generation who will take over from us. The people of Wabane have proven their loyalty to the CPDM party, and they are reaping the benefits of loyalty in the number of projects allocated to the municipality”.
As the section executives look forward to carrying out great projects to empower the youths, women and men, the greatest challenge faced is that of insecurity which affects the lower part of Wabane. Because of insecurity, most of the projects are executed only at the upper section of the municipality, which is relatively calm. The new team is expected to intensify the sensitization for the total return of peace, by pleading with those carrying arms to drop them. Football competitions for both male and female, agricultural exhibitions, support to farmers and students, are some of the activities the section will be carrying out to empower militants in their different spheres.
