Ndop : Militants to Re-ignite Spirit of Belonging

Two days to the commemoration of the 50th National Day, CPDM local authorities in the Ngoketunjia I section plan to leave prints in the sand of the nation’s history.

The Elite of the Section are striving to rebuild confidence in the militants and the population at large. They have been reassuring them that the future of the nation of Cameroon is with Paul Biya and the CPDM. The CPDM is the lone political party that has over the years, proven that it stands for a cause. The party through its National President has refused to be deterred. Militants of the CPDM and elite of the section such as Prof. Paul Ghogomu, Jingum Musa Mbutoh; Questor at the National Assembly and member of Parliament; Prof. Uphie Flornce, Moh Sylvester, Dr. Nwana Sama Bernard are unbending in their quest to right the wrongs of the recent years.
In collaboration with CPDM Section President and Mayor Ntoh Daniel, the WCPDM Section President Chengwe Cecilia epouse Bindi and Pius Mingo YCPDM Section President, the CPDM game changing team of Ndop has been mobilizing militants to come out in their numbers on 20th May to reaffirm their belonging to the nation.
A total of one thousand (1000) T-shirts have been printed for distribution to militants as they prepare to match on d -day.
The CPDM is a party of Peace, and authorities in Ndop do not cease to call on the people to desire, make and to give themselves peace. According to Ntoh Daniel “Peace works for the good of all, the advancement and growth of the nation”, he said.
Women in the section are not left out. They have the responsibility to instill the virtues of unity and peace right from homes and to give the children the right education by teaching them the right values. “We have been cautioning women to dissuade particularly the children from indulging in criminality”, Cecilia Chengwe; WCPDM President said.
Pius Mingo, YCPDM Section President a dynamic young man has yet a more demanding task in that he is in charge of the youth. Since coming to office in 2021 Mingo vowed to change the narrative of violence amongst the youth in the Ndop by showing them the better side of things. He has been preaching peace to them and encouraging them to invest their energies and talents profitably. Mingo has also been defying separatists’ threats to reach out to the youth, calling on them to shun fear and to join the peace train.
The gradual return to normal life is an opportunity they are building on.
By engaging their people to love the country and creating in them the hunger to build Cameroon, CPDM militants in Ndop are saying that they are unapologetic of their nationality. Never again will the wind of division toss them.
