CPDM militants of Lebialem II Section in Alou intend to use the 40th anniversary of President Biya’s accession to power to count the numerous appointments of their comrades into top positions in government.
The celebration of the 40th anniversary of President Biya’s accession to the supreme magistracy will be exceptional Alou. Militants from the different units of the party will not only assemble in Alou for the routine support march, but will celebrate in great feasting, by “counting their blessings and naming them one by one”. The militants despite the ongoing socio-political crisis have always answered present in all political activities in the section. This time they have decided to massively take part because according to them, forty years have brought abundant blessings to the them in the appointment of their son as minister, as well as others to high positions of responsibility.
The CPDM section president Chief Dominic Yimnai Fotsop, is determined to galvanize the other wings of the party to ensure that the turnout triples that of other celebrations. “We have to demonstrate to our national president that we remain very grateful to him for placing our section in the limelight. The appointment of our illustrious son, Paul Tasong, as minister Delegate is something we the people of Alou must continue to celebrate. Our section is blessed to have been rewarded by the national president of our great party. The confidence bestowed on Lebialem II Section by President Biya, has gone into the records of Alou, and Lebialem Division, as the period we got our first minister after more than fifty years. We will equally be thanking our national president for other appointments to greater positions of responsibility of other militants of our section. Some are Regional Delegate, Board chair of corporation, higher judicial officials, managers and a host of others”.
On the part of the youths, the YCPDM section president, Collins Chomo, will mobilize the youths across Alou. The youths will be extending gratitude to the head of state for the numerous opportunities offered to them to help make them self-sustaining. Beatrice Asongna, WCPDM Section president for her part will act as liaison between the men and the youth wing. They will as well express gratitude for the positions accorded women in the affairs of the state, as well celebrating one of theirs in Alou appointed Public Independent Conciliator of the South West Regional Assembly.
