To reaffirm its contribution in strengthening the senate for a better output, the CPDM is opting for tried and tested actors in decentralization and pillars of local development.
After the two inaugural mandates of 2013 and 2018 the Senate is entering a new and a decisive phase of its existence. The 2023 phase has been termed the phase of maturity. In it, the party plans to consolidate its achievements from the first two mandates.
The party’s objectives are to put in place a stronger senate for a more decentralized and a more dynamic local democracy which will act as catalysts of the socio-economic life of councils and the development of local areas.
The party is presenting men and women with experience, confirmed politically mature persons who for the most part have been part of the senate’s missions from its inception.
These are persons who master the terrain, and by their closeness to the people through their daily investments know their problems and can intervene to solve them. They reflect the sociological and socio-linguistical diversities of territories.
Candidates of the CPDM are a reflection of the unity, spirit of sharing and national integration preached by the Head of State. The party presents committed, loyal and faithful men and women of the institutions of the republic, desirous to make a difference in the life of the nation’s development. These are men and women who are determined, having a passion for the country and who are attached to the ideals put in place by the Head of State Paul Biya
They are also decerning and know the times hence they cannot be trapped in divisions. Instead, these candidates will make listening, and the implementation of a sane, productive political atmosphere possible at the senate.
To achieve this every single vote for the CPDM lists is of utmost importance.
These municipal and regional councilors who have received the blessings of Cameroonians are to portray a good conduct. They know the expectations of the people, the legitimate aspirations of the youth which include employment, education, health to name but these. These and more are the pre occupations of Cameroonians especially in the rural areas.
