Slated for October 21, the conference will hold under the theme “Together for an overwhelming victory in subsequent elections”.
The CPDM prepares its victories ahead of time and does not lie on its laurels. Its militants have learned to make hay while it shines, reason why for the upcoming section conference convened by Hon. Ngalle Daniel Etongo, Section President for Ndian IV, militants will be drilled on a number of succinct topics, in readiness for the 2025 election. Weeks back, Jean Nkuété, SG of the Central Committee was in the Centre region to launch working visits to the ten regions during which he told militants that their actions now ought to reflect the aspirations of a party that intends to win all elections come 2025. It is in line with that vision that the executive of Ndian IV Section in Bamusso, South West region coined the theme of their conference which will serve as a guide in their plans of action. The South West region is undeniably a bastion of the CPDM going by the performance of the party in past elections and the number of seats held at the National Assembly and Senate. These comforting numbers of CPDM run-councils in the region attests to the commitment of militants in the area. In a bid to stay on track, the militants of Ndian IV in Bamusso are staying abreast of all the happenings that could have a bearing on the election and arming themselves for any eventualities.
According to the program drawn for the section conference that will involve all the wings of the CPDM, there will be a series of presentations to enlighten militants. There will be an exposé on the Special Status granted the South West region, another on youths and self reliant initiatives at this time of economic difficulties and a third on measures taken by CDC that are beneficial to youths and elites. There will equally be a presentation on the qualities of a disciplined CPDM militant, at a time when Jean Nkuété is encouraging greater collaboration between militants in order to avoid disgruntlements.
The joint section conference that will hold at the Bamusso grandstand will be attended by members of the Ndian Divisional Permanent Delegation of the CPDM, militants who are executives of the subsections that make up the section amongst others.
