The Member of Parliament for Fako and CPDM Section president of Fako II, Muyuka has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the young generation, reason he continues providing them with the necessary tools and opportunities to thrive.
The mobilisation and constant follow-up of youths within the CPDM is a reality even in the crisis stricken locality of Muyuka, South West Region. As a representative of the people in Parliament and CPDM Section president of Fako II, Hon. Findi Stanley is committed to go the extra mile to ensure the wellbeing of the youths. While on recess from his parliamentary duties, the MP went home to communion with the youths, discuss and get information on ways of ameliorating their present conditions, at a time when accruing challenges are pushing many to pack their bags and seek greener pastures abroad.
On the eve of youth day, Hon Findi brought together youths of the Muyuka council area to listen to President Paul Biya’s address and some aspects that caught their attention included of the fight against drugs, resilience in the face of high cost of living, promotion of moral values and the reduction of tuition fees in vocational centres of training. Highlight of these aspects according to the MP are indicative that as a father of the nation, Paul Biya has his ears to the ground and is taking measures to address the plight of his young compatriots. Hon. Findi reiterated that the « youths of Muyuka need to stay off terrorism and all uncivil actions » while appealing to those still in the bushes to drop their weapons and join hands to build the subdivision.
In the bustling town of Muyuka, a beacon of hope shines brightly through the efforts of Honourable Findi Stanley. This visionary youth led his peers during the march pass which was the high point of this year’s national youth day celebrated on 11 February. The turnout of the youths of the YCPDM Section showed their unwaveringly support to President Paul Biya whose tireless efforts to uplift the welfare of young people cannot be overemphasised.
Honourable Stanley’s commitment to youth development and his unwavering loyalty to the Head of State have made him a transformative force in Muyuka and beyond. As the Vice President of the Network for the promotion of entrepreneurship and also member of the network for youth advocacy, the MP knows how to work his way around youths. He has provided financial assistance to youths to help the; start petit businesses and register in public examinations. For one who firmly believes that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future, the MP is relentless dishing out tools to help youths break free from the shackles of poverty and become agents of change in their community. Through education, skill-building, and unwavering support, Hon. Findi continues to instil hope and confidence in the youth, empowering them to become leaders and catalysts for progress.
