In a motion of support to the National President, Paul Biya, militants of Kupe Muanenguba III Section in Tombel, South West region have pledged to make the CPDM victorious during the 2025 elections.
The colourful event that was punctuated by speeches was an occasion for the Section President, Mbulle Valentine to clampdown on those perpetrating hate and division. He guarded militants against internal wrangling that weaken the party from within. “We are still much divided, focused on infighting, backbiting and backstabbing.” These, he highlighted were harmful to the cohesion and development of the Section and the division as a whole. “The time has come for us to forget self and think collective”.
While lauding the resilience of the section executive in the face of adversity, he appealed that all and sundry would speak in one voice for the betterment of the area.
He outlined the executive’s intent to ascertain the comfortable position occupied by the CPDM in the area, noting that it is thanks to the dynamism of the political elite that the opposition has been kicked out of Tombel. To ensure that CPDM sails through in 2025, Mbulle Valentine and his team will undertake a tour of the various subsections to ensure that militants of the CPDM, WCPDM and YCPDM are duly registered in line with the directives of the Secretary General of the Central Committee. “We are urged to verify that our voters are effectively present on the lists and ensure that the party is represented on the various local election register review committees. We are further urged to effectively organise the collection of voters’ cards by their holders…” the section president insisted.
Mayor Rose Ngassa, Representative of the Permanent Divisional Delegation of the CPDM, assured victory for the CPDM as she lauded her comrades for the massive turnout. The Section President presented to militants the award received some weeks back and which he acknowledged was thanks to the joint efforts of all militants of the Kupe Muanenguba III Section. Apart from the presentation of the Guardian Post Award, the Section Executive also gifted the president a traditional chair made of antelop animal skin. This, for selfless service to the party and to enable him continue the good work.
Ahead of 2025, militants of the 46 subsections that make up Kupe Muanenguba III Section are doing the needful, registering massively to vote for the CPDM party’s candidates when presidential, legislative and municipal elections will be convened. The militants here are working in the backdrop of the socio-political crisis, but which has not dampened their commitment and devotedness as they are determined to maintain the status quo as an unshakable bastion of the CPDM. This explains the presence of the Elecam team at the government primary school field on 24 March, during celebrations marking the Party’s 39th anniversary.
