Militants of the CPDM in the Momo IV section in Ngie are launching out to conquer more territories and fish out potential voters.
hey are making the best of the extension of the mandate of law makers for a better preparation of présidential elections come 2025. For a terrain that is just recovering from the harshness of the crisis, with a people still battling with insecurity as they struggle to pick up their pieces and start life afresh, the section president affirms that the extension of the mandate gives them the opportunity to penetrate more localities.
Stephen Ujambeng, section president admits that “the greatest part of our work on the field has been done this far, powever we not stopping as far as we know that there is a potential voter that is yet to be registered on the voter’s list. With a renewed energy and enthusiasm, we will go back to work and ensure that every eligible voter, in all parts of our section gets registered.
Our advantage in this is the extension of the mandate of law makers”, Ujambeng emphasized. The CPDM hierarchy has maintained that the party is here to win and conserve power as a means to pave the way for the bearer of the
party’s vision Paul Biya to accomplish all that he has envisaged for the nation. With the Presidential election already pointing in the horizon, the party is working for an undisputable success in the 2025 elections. The local authorities being the relay agents of the party’s agenda all over the national territory, they are responsible for the enforcement of the laid down rules of the party for it to achieve its said goals. The major requirement for the moment for every
local party authority is to ensure that the greatest number of éligible voters get their names of the voter registers as the nation looks forward to upcoming elections.
“We don’t plan to leave out any potential voter”, Ujambeng insisted.
Ngie sub division has been one of the major areas in Momo division of the North west region where separatists have done much damage. The Section President Stephen Ujamben Andong was Kidnapped and taken into captivity in 2023 for organizing a CPDM meeting. He miraculously escaped from his captors and has since regaining freedom championed CPDM’s cause in his section for the much-desired change and the return to peace.
