Kupe Muanenguba III Section militants have applauded President Paul Biya’s «exceptional longivity » at the helm of the state and promised to remain committed to his ideals of democracy and progress.
It was a vibrant crowd that turned out at the Tombel ceremonial ground on November 6, 2024 to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of President Paul Biya’s accession to the Supreme Magistracy. The celebration was all the more special owing to the presidents visibly good health, after birds of ill omen had declared him dead some weeks back. The atmosphere at the rally was electric, filled with chants and songs of support for President Biya. Militants of Kupe Muanenguba III Section came together to express their unyielding loyalty, in light of the blessings received in terms of development in the area.
In his address to militants, Mbulle Valentine, Section President of Kupe Muanenguba III counted blessings received by the division. While expressing gratitude for what has been achieved in terms of road infrastructure, he noted stretches that were still a cause for worry assured the population that as government’s mill ground steadily, Tombel would also rejoice soon. he nonetheless beckoned the Minister Assistant Secretary General at the Presidency Elung Paul Che to “convey our deepest gratitude to the head of state and assure him of our full support, anytime, anywhere, and any day in his exacting task of state building”.
Mbulle Valentine equally lauded the efforts made by grassroots militants to remain united and used the opportunity to sound a clarion call to other elite to join the band wagon, accord their voices for the common good of not only CPDM militants but Tombel as a whole.
As has become tradition in Tombel, the finale of the third edition of the “CPDM unity and peace consolidation tournament” placed under the patronage of Minister Elung Paul Che was played on November 5. Ngusi/Tombel II Sub section took home the trophy after serving the crowd with thrilling football. The Section President was keen to appreciate the teams for camaraderie and fair play displayed throughout the tourn ament and assured the youth of continuous efforts in their empowerment through various schemes.
The 42nd anniversary of President Paul Biya’s leadership was not merely a celebration of the past but a rallying call for the future, as militants of Kupe Muanenguba reflected on the significant milestones achieved and reaffirmed their belief in a government that prioritizes the needs of its people. With their unshakeable support, the hope is that President Biya will continue to guide Cameroon towards greater heights, ensuring that the journey of development is inclusive and beneficial for all.
