This was the essence of the Member of Parliament’s message to Constituents on National day, May 20 at the Ndop central stadium.
A myriad of militants joined the population at the Ndop grand stand to reaffirm their love for the nation’s unity and peace. Under the leadership of their Member of Parliaments, they unanimously reaffirmed their readiness to fly the CPDM’s victory flag in the upcoming 2025 Presidential elections. The convivial and breath-taking atmosphere at the ceremonial ground spoke volumes of a people that have been taken advantage of, a people who have realized that they were misled and are resolutely united in purpose to change a trend.
Enlightened by Hon. Njingum Musa, MP for Ngoketunjia North with a determined objective to restitute to the people their stolen rights and liberties, the massive turnout for May 20 was a demonstration of the people’s desire for a complete turnaround from deception in the direction of truth, peace, growth and development.
A colorful ceremony for a people that had been locked up, and their right to speech, movement and the expression of their political attachments ceased. In the presence of their local party and administrative authorities, religious and traditional authorities it was a great relief for them to freely shout out their love for the beloved nation.
In a strong and straight to the point message, Hon. Njingum Musa enjoined his constituents to be very wise, vigilant and to choose rights in upcoming elections. “Ngoketunjia is still recovering from, a harsh crisis born out of deception and inflicted on the people. The consequences have been very serious and now is the time to make corrections. The upcoming elections avail us that unique opportunity and we must not lose”, Njingum said emphatically. “For this to happen, we must choose right”, he continued.
The MP also warned militants of the CPDM to guard against pressure especially from sweet talkers. He urged all to give the CPDM leadership the chance to complete set goals and to enable them in Ngoketunjia gather and pick up their pieces.
With just few months to the close of the registration exercise, he called on all eligible voters who are yet to register to make haste and get their names on the voter’s lists.
Njingum Musa also called on the few who could still be hiding in the bushes to stop wasting their lives and to take advantage of the outstretched arm of love and peace extended to them by the Head of State and come back to normal life.
