This is in continuation of his efforts to bolster agricultural productivity and ensure food security in Kupe Muanenguba.
Hon. Fonge Julius, Member of Parliament for the Kupe Muaneguba II Constituency, has launched a maize seed distribution campaign targeting local farmers. The initiative, carried out in Nguti subdivision, was spearheaded by his alternate, Hon. Esapa Patra. Hundreds of farmers gathered to receive high-quality maize seedlings, a vital input aimed at enhancing yields and improving livelihoods across the region. At the distribution ceremony, Hon. Esapa Patra reaffirmed the MP’s commitment to empowering local communities through sustainable agricultural support. “This initiative reflects Hon. Fonge Julius’s dedication to the welfare of the people of Kupe Muanenguba,” Hon. Esapa said. “By investing in agriculture, we are laying the foundation for food self-sufficiency and economic growth”, he continued. The farmers who had come out in their numbers expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting the timeliness of the support as the planting season kicks off. This distribution is part of a broader agenda by Hon. Fonge to promote grassroots development through targeted interventions in key sectors such as agriculture, education, and health. The people of Nguti are optimistic about a productive farming season, and many are hoping and expecting that such support becomes a regular part of rural development policy.
These and more are the concrete actions that the Head of State and National President of the CPDM has prescribed and continues to encourage as part of the actions of the peoples representatives on the field, hence these palpable actions of Hon. Fonge Julius.
