As the party which stands for excellence, the CPDM continues to aspire for a resounding victories in all elections, hence the need to bring on board the right persons who have the party’s interest.
To meet the aspirations of the National President of the CPDM who seeks an ever strong Senate with a majority being militants of the CPDM, instructions have been given out for judicious and carefully selected candidates who can fly the party’s flag ever higher. According to the circular of the National President, “the objectives of the CPDM on the occasion of the 2023 senatorial elections is to obtain a resounding victory.” This will go a long way to increase the party’s numerical strength at the Senate and efficacy in that the party wants people who will contribute to the growth of the nation by enhancing the cause of the CPDM which stands resolutely for development. For an election which requires only the votes of regional and municipal councilors, it is imperative that voters prioritize the party over personal interest. The message of the National President over the years that every success is first and foremost for the party before anyone else is more than ever true now. Paul Biya’s guidelines for the candidates to occupy the Senate on the party’s ticket are that they should be deserving, convinced and convincing militants. It is incumbent of the militants who will be elected to be able to represent the CPDM in the Senate, as well as meet both individual and collective internal conditions, obeying the criteria defined by the law.
As a party which stands for excellence, the party expects candidates to carry the CPDM to hieghts by being examplary candidates, hence fulfill all the prescriptions given and also to respect the time given for them to deposit the required documents so as to preach by example to the detractors who are only looking for the slightest opportunity to tarnish the image of the party.
It is also expected that militants give the candidates that will be selected the desired support. The long and short being that at the end the CPDM comes out as triumphant.
