YCPDM Ndop has manifested the willingness to foster its integration into the job market, prioritize professionalization and maintaining peace as prescribed by President Paul Biya.
The youths of the Ngoketunjia I section an unchallenged bastion of the CPDM have again been fired up to build Cameroon by the National President of the CPDM and Head of State Paul Biya. In his recent address to the youth on the eve of the celebration of the national youth day, recognized that the youths are faced with many challenges today but like a true father he call on them never to give up, but to be challenged and get creative and delve more into the professionalization of their talents. A call that galvanized youths all over the national territory and particularly in Ndop. A renewed zeal to build an ever strong Cameroon has been birth in the Ndop future leaders whose massive turnout ceremonial ground testified of their determination to contribute positively in the advancement of the nation’s growth. The Ndop municipal council stadium turned a bee hive this last February 11 was a result of the great mobilization by the CPDM local authorities prior to the event and also proof of a youth that is resolute in shaping its destiny.
According the YCPDM section president Pius Mingo, “We have been compelled against our wish to eat the bitter bread suffering for the last five years. We have learned through the hardest way. Today we know better we are not trading this new found peace for gold nor silver”, he said emphatically.
For a people bent on rebuilding their broken walls, a swing to action by putting to practice the entrepreneurial spirit prescribed by President Biya promises to be immediate. This is the only way out of poverty and suffering.
If the saying that “once beaten twice shy” is anything to go by, then this year’s youth day celebration in Ndop will be written in the sands of history that they can no longer be deceived. Despite threats from haters of the nation’s peace and unity, they defied all odds and stood for the nation’s cause, staging an unparalleled victory parade to the appreciation of local administrative, political and traditional authorities in the section.
The youths were beautifully clad in white T-shirts branded CPDM as they chanted their victory song “Paul Biya, Our President, Father of our Nation….”. The Green, Red & Yellow national flag flies ever so high in Ndop.
