With important stakes in the horizon, CPDM authorities in Akono are constant in the mobilization, education and animation of basic organs as a means of keeping militants glued to the party.
The National President, Paul Biya has inspired so much hope in militants of the Mefou and Akono South west section and they are contented with him. They have continued to throw their weight behind Paul Biya as observed during celebrations marking his 40 years at the supreme Magistracy. It has been a fruitful militancy with countless realizations in the Section with the icing on the cake being the road linking Yaounde to Kribi through Olama. According to Daniel Hippolyte Bickoe, section President “as the road passed development followed. The population of Akono today goes in and out, moving on a good road. People here do businesses in Yaounde, Mbalmayo and you name them. There is no better way to thank Paul Biya than to continue to spread our militants base to cover every household in our section”, he said.
The development-oriented militants of Akono are looking to the future with great hope and optimism. They continue to show their willingness to keep the CPDM flag flying higher as they activate their networks for eventual political stakes.
In the words of Daniel Hippolyte Bickoe, “The CPDM is a great laboratory where you see all strategies that deal with the economy. The realizations of the CPDM are enormous in our section. We have been blessed with countless infrastructures all sectors from health to education, notwithstanding the appointment of sons and daughters of Akono into positions of responsibility in the Country”, he emphasized.
For these and more, they plan to remain steadfast to the CPDM for many more benefits to come their way. The hierarchy of the section enjoys a good collaboration as it works hand in glove with the militants, traditional authorities, and the elite. Their unique objective being to ensure the continuous growth and spread of the CPDM. “The CPDM has the best political offer. 95% of us are adherents of the CPDM and we don’t plan to change,” the section president insisted.
As his message to militants in Akono, Daniel Hippolyte is emphatic that militants should not be misled by fake political offers. In his words “We will continue to deal with Paul Biya that we know. We know the CPDM, we are born in the CPDM and we see how the CPDM is working and where it is leading our country. Thanks to the CPDM we have peace, we have security and our national integrity is intact, our loyalty is with Paul Biya”, he said. Militants in Akono are looking to the future with great optimism.
