Mvengue : Voter Registration Wheel Turns

When it comes to the mobilization, sensitization and the pursuance of local development in the Ocean North East section, the party authorities know no break.

Unlike some local party authorities who have now been awoken by the Secretary General’s recent circular on January 10, Militants of the CPDM in the Ocean North East Section in Mvengue led by Ambroise Owotsogo Ongene, section president are very intentional and constant in their pursuit of bring in militants and potential voter to register on the voter’s lists.
It can be said of militants of this section that they know no season and that militancy for them is a life style. This is thanks to the commitment of their local authorities who continue to keep up the steam on the field. The proximity of the section president with presidents of subsections, branches and Cells, is a pls and a strategy which is put in place and which works. In the words of Owotsogo, “even before the joint section conference that took place in Awanda on November 5 2023 culminating in the celebration of the accession of the Head of State to the supreme magistracy on November 6, we had instructed sub section presidents to take stock of the registration situation, and during the section conference; each president gave a report on their work done on the field with emphasis on the number of registered voters, how many lack birth certificates and national identity cards”, he said.
The section president has thus deciphered where the problems that are yet to be tackled lie. In the days ahead he will be visiting each of the twenty-one (21) sub sections to engage militants on the registration process.
He will also, with the support of the elite help militants who have no identity cards and birth certificates to acquire them thus ensuring that they have what it takes to register. Here too, Owotsogo says “We have already summarized, and consolidated the files. We know those who have birth certificates, those who have identity cards and those who don’t have, those who are not registered and those who are. Those who have their identity cards and are not registered on any list, we plan to make them register”. he revealed.
A great job already being done in the section so far therefore. However, in his quest to get the most of the electors registered, the section president will be combing the nooks and crannies of the section in the days ahead to fish out militants and potential voter and ensure that they get registered so as to vote for the CPDM, the party of the people of Mvengue.
