Through Youth Empowerment Drive : Njie Makongo Boosts Paul Biya’s Popularity

During a vocational training initiative held in the Bonjongo Court Area – South West Region, the young and dynamic leader openly endorsed President Paul Biya, calling on the population to deliver him a sweeping vote of confidence in upcoming elections.

In a display of grassroots mobilization and socio-economic commitment, Njie Makongo Ngombi, CEO of the Njie Family Hope Foundation, has further solidified his standing as a prominent political and philanthropic figure in the Fako West Constituency. The event, which drew a significant turnout from the local population, was marked by the awarding of scholarships to 25 young Cameroonians. The training programs, valued at 4.614 million FCFA, cover a diverse range of trades including welding, professional driving, aluminium fabrication, hairdressing, fashion design, and auto mechanics. Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, Njie Makongo Ngombi praised President Biya as “the only man with the necessary experience and know-how” to steer Cameroon forward. He described Biya as the inspiration behind his foundation’s socio-economic initiatives, positioning the campaign not just as an act of charity but as a political gesture in alignment with head of state’s vision. “The Njie Family HopeFoundation is committed to empowering youths and women to become self-reliant and creators of employment,” Ngombi said, adding that “since its inception a year ago, the foundation has been working tirelessly to rally support behind President Paul Biya’s vision for development and stability in Cameroon.”

The meeting was coordinated by Mrs Sophie Kama, the Foundation’s coordinator for Bonjongo Court Area, with significant support from the Bonjongo Court Area Development Forum. Their combined efforts ensured smooth logistics and impactful outreach Feedback from the community was overwhelmingly positive. Many parents and young beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Foundation for what they described as “timely intervention during a period of acute hardship.” Several residents echoed the call for a 100% vote for President Biya, saying that the empowerment drive had reinforced their belief in his leadership.
