Bangou : Militants Vow 100% Vote on October 12

The people of Bangou in the Upper Plateau division of the West Region have made a resounding pledge of total support for President Paul Biya, promising to deliver a landslide vote in his favour in the upcoming presidential election.

The commitment was declared amidst a surge of political fervour during a rally to launch the campaigns in the area. The ceremony was presided over by Hon Datouo Théodore, in the presence of Mr. Ngamo Timothé, President of the Upper Plateau divisional campaign committee at the esplanade of the Government Primary School, transformed into a sea of party colours.

The ceremony was packed with militants and sympathisers from several communities including internally displaced persons all united in their message of continued allegiance. Speaker after speaker took to the podium, not merely to express support, but to meticulously enumerate the developmental achievements and stability they attribute to President Biya’s long-standing governance.

It was this track record of perceived progress, according to party officials, that forms the bedrock of the community’s promise. “For these achievements and for the promise of more, the people of Bangou have promised to give a 100% vote to President Paul Biya,” Honourable Datouo Théodore stated, framing the pledge as a testament of loyalty.

He emphasized that the CPDM has consistently groomed its militants, and that the election period is the ultimate test of that loyalty. “The people of Bangou… will remain loyal and prove this by their plebiscite in favour of Paul Biya,” he declared.

Acknowledging that a rally alone does not win votes, the campaign team unveiled a strategic plan to convert this pledged support into actual ballots. The team announced an intensive door-to-door campaign initiative aimed at engaging directly with voters. The objective is twofold, to reinforce the party’s message and to ensure a massive voter turnout on election day.

This grassroots approach has always been the party’s way of leaving nothing to chance, aiming to woo and mobilize every single potential voter in the constituency to cast their vote effectively for their unique candidate Paul Biya.
