As the 2025 presidential campaign draws to a close, Fai Yengo Francis, President of the Permanent Delegation of the CPDM Central Committee to Bui, has issued a strong appeal to voters in the division to support candidate Paul Biya.
In a “closing campaign word” addressed to the people of Bui — a copy of which L’Action has seen — Fai Yengo Francis stressed the importance of unity and renewal. Speaking both as a political leader and a son of the soil, he delivered a message of hope and the promise of greatness, championed by President Paul Biya.
Fai Yengo reflected on the experiences of the people, saying that despite the scars of conflict, “the spirit of Bui remains unbroken.” He urged the community to embrace “a message of healing and renewal.”

He described the current moment as “a season of planting, return, and renewal,” and invited citizens to take part actively in rebuilding their communities.
The campaign, under the slogan Greatness and Hope, focuses on transformation rather than nostalgia, calling on citizens to look forward to a shared future.
The former governor appealed to the youth and women of Bui, highlighting their essential roles in the community and in the country’s development. He reminded all citizens that their participation is vital for real empowerment.
He also warned against those seeking to divide the community, saying that “only through unity can we achieve greatness.”
The campaign coordinator ended with a rallying call for citizens to vote for peace, renewal, and hope, urging them to back President Biya as a leader committed to stability and inclusive growth.
“May this vote mark not only the closing of a campaign, but the opening of a new chapter in Bui’s destiny,” he said, closing his message with a strong appeal for unity and progress.
