In accordance the Party’s hierarchy to ensure a maximum win for the CPDM in upcoming elections, leaders of designated campaign structures are deciding and settling for unanimously agreed approaches and strategies to win for the CPDM.
The CPDM in this regional election is working on meeting a twofold objective. Strengthening its position as the leading political party in power in Cameroon, and reconquer territories that eluded it five years back. Structure put in place at the national, regional, divisional and local levels under leaders with specific instructions and directive are working tirelessly to bring the required results.
In the Momo division of the North West region for instance, the set target of 100% votes for the CPDM is being pursued. Minister, Mbah Acha, Head of Permanent Divisional delegation is ensuring this. She has been preparing councilors of the five councils in the division for a record landslide victory. Minister Acha officially launched campaigns in the division Friday 21 November, echoes speak of a successful start.
She takes credit for tirelessly working and reinstating CPDM dominance in Momo, rebranding the division as an unshakable CPDM bastion. Her efforts to restore order and peace are strong moves that continue to woo the hitherto reticent and skeptic people of the area, reassuring them of CPDM’s trustworthiness.
Acha has been working with party elite, Mayors, MP’s section presidents and candidates, calling on all of them to join forces with her so that together they advance CPDM’ s course for peace, growth and development.
This is the same spirit in Lekie division of the Centre region where Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Head of permanent divisional delegation has continued to insist that the campaign is focus on the maximum acquisition of votes for the CPDM. Here too, the CPDM came out with flying colors in the just ended Presidential election. According to him, there are three seats that belong to opposition parties that are not yet in competition. The CPDM, already working in the division aims at winning these seats.
In all, CPDM teams all over the national territory have been serve the same script by hierarchy. Conscious of the great importance of this election to President Paul Biya, national president of the CPDM in his bead for the consolidation and strengthening of Cameroon’s Democracy; they are leaving nothing to chance.
Paul Biya will surely be able to proof his good will to keep his campaign promises and to respect his commitments made to Cameroon and Cameroonians at his inauguration. He is making every minute of this seven-year mandate and the regional election is one of them.
