The mayor of Kumbo, Mborong Venasius, praised the militants for their unwavering support, highlighting the numerous achievements and projects realized in the council area, including the rehabilitation and equipment of classrooms, construction of VIP wards in hospitals, road maintenance, electrification, and provision of farm inputs to boost agricultural production.
The section president Kimbi Wilfred for his part emphasized the importance of continuous voter registration and the fight for the return of lasting peace. He encouraged militants to remain committed to the party’s ideals and to work towards a landslide victory for Paul Biya in the upcoming elections.
A motion of support addressed to President Paul Biya was read, followed by the cutting of the anniversary cake. The event was a testament to the CPDM’s strong presence in Kumbo and its dedication to the development and harmony of the community.
Despite the challenges posed by the socio-economic crisis in the North West and South West regions, the people of Kumbo remain resolute in their support for Paul Biya, whom they believe will bring about positive change. The CPDM’s 40th anniversary celebration in Kumbo was a clear demonstration of this commitment, as militants and supporters rallied behind the party’s national president.
