Two Bereaved CPDM Militants : SG Pays Condolence Visits (As Always)

The Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPDM Jean Nkuété led two separate delegations on Wednesday January 26 to the home of the former boss of the National intelligence service Mouiche Moïse and the Director Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s office Ebune Confiance Balungeli.

The SG and his delegation made up of senior staff of the General Secretariat of the CPDM kicked off the condolence caravan at the home of the former secret service boss who lost his wife. Death snatched his wife Mouiche Loumgam Monika after more than five years of affliction – in and out hospital. She died on December 11, 2021 in Paris, France. The scribe of the ruling party said the condolence visit was to convey words of comfort from the National president Paul Biya and the entire CPDM family. The delegation met a man clad in black. The late Mouiche Monika was a fervent militant of CPDM and will be buried in Foumban, Noun division of the West region on February 19, the husband said.
Later during the day, the SG and his delegation paid another condolence visit to the Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office. Ebune Confiance Balungeli lost the father. Hon. Chief Ebune Nakeli Ekole a former police officer had been living with his son for the past fifteen years. Both had a relationship of the finger and the nail. His death has left Minister Ebune devastated, and the SG and his delegation brought words of encouragement. “What touches you touches us. We are together in good as well as in bad times. Extend our condolences to your entire family,” Jean Nukété told the Mr. Ebune. The Director of Cabinet while rreferrin to Jean Nkuété as his “father”, said: “Words cannot express my feeling (about the visit). You were here last time with a delegation when I lost my mother. You remain a father”. Ebune’s father was a friend to the Secretary General and both spent time together when Ebune Confiance was the SDO for Menoua, Jean Nkuété’s division of origin. The late member of parliament will be buried on February 25 in Mundemba, Ndian division of the South West region.
The SG was accompanied by his adviser Jean Fabien Monkam, Chief of personnel Fru Jonathan, among other close collaborators.
