Akono : Militants Recommit to the CPDM

Militants of the CPDM in the Mefou & Akono South section unapologetically reaffirmed their support for Paul Biya on November 6.

They turned out at the artistic Hall of the Stoll bilingual college to celebrate the Head of State’s fortieth year at the helm of power. They found no better way to say thank you than to storm the place on this memorable day and collectively shout out their unshakable support for Paul Biya and also to urge him on. Speaker after speaker took the stage to acknowledge the great works of the National President of the CPDM.
Welcoming the militants, Ondoa Effala; Mayor of Akono council said the Municipality remains an unbeatable bastion of the CPDM. He called on the militants to remobilize and to strengthen their support as they consolidate what has been achieved this far and also to prepare to do even more for the future.
The Section President, Bickoe Daniel Hippolyte thanked the militants for braving long distances to come together and celebrate their champion. He called on the militants to “magnify their living together and never to trade the peace, unity and the development of Cameroon which the National President holds dear”, he said. He sited the benefits that have come to Akono because of their choice to support Paul Biya. Akono has multiple Health facilities, the population enjoys the provision of portable water and the ongoing electrification of some localities undertaken by one of their sons and Minister, Gaston Eloundou Essomba are worth saluting.
The Yaounde – Kribi road that passes through Akono and which has contributed to the fast development of Akono, notwithstanding the numerous sons and daughter of Akono who have been appointed to positions. According to him, “there is yet a lot to accomplish, every militant should contribute in the building of an ever solid edifice with Paul Biya”, Bickoe insisted.
The representative of the Head of the Divisional Permanent delegation of the Central committee for Akono, called them to lay their differences to rest. In his words “Militants of Mefou and Akono division should emulate Paul Biya who despite the multiple challenges, treasons and oppositions that he has faced in the discharge of his duties, has methodically continued his journey, never losing his focus.
