Implementing SG’s Circular : Batibo, so far so good

Authorities of Momo East, Batibo of Momo division, North West region have put in place measures to ensure the registration of CPDM militants, and sympathizers of the party in accordance with a recent circular of the Secretary General Jean Nkuété.

Upon the publication of the circular of the Secretary General of the Central Committee Jean Nkuété relating to the registration of CPDM militants on the electoral register, the Divisional Permanent Delegation for Momo division, under the auspices of Minister Mbah Acha Rose, convened a meeting of all the five section presidents for Momo division. Here, the head of the delegation reiterated the measures prescribed by the Secretary General.
On the heels of the meeting, Momo East, Batibo put in place a team headed by the section President Anyere Charles Akah, also Member of Parliament of the area, L’Action learnt.
The team has key responsibilities, according to the section President. Winning new militants for the CPDM is one task among many that the team would carry out.
Also, the team will source for funds to assist eligible militants establish national identity cards especially underprivileged new militants, the section president told L’Action in an exclusive comment. The national identity card is a prerequisite document requested by the elections management body, ELECAM. Here the section is targeting young militants.
Besides scouting new militants, the team, the section president said, would “make sure that all CPDM militants (executives) are registered on the electoral register”.
The team intends to approach and assist, where necessary, by “means of information and otherwise ELECAM to enable them carryout their duty smoothly,” Hon Anyere said.
“We scheduled another enlarge meeting in March 2024, to be attended by all the section, subsection, branch and cell executives of the three wings,” the section President revealed.
This will be an explanation meeting, as instructed by the Secretary General in the circular of January 11, 2024 relating to the revision of electoral registers. “We shall enlighten militants on the importance of the circular of the Secretary General of the Central Committee,” Hon Anyere told L’Action.
“We shall also evaluate the results of the strategies we have put in place and see how to better forge ahead for total victory in the 2025 elections,” the section President concluded his comment.
