Kumbo : Militants of Bui-1A Gear-up

In readiness for the 54th National Day, CPDM party officials of Bui 1A in Kumbo are working to guarantee a massive turnout that will showcase the resilience of the population and the continued attachment of militants to the ideals championed by the Head of State, Paul Biya.

Through strategic mobilisation meetings, logistical preparations and grassroots engagement, the militants of the Bui 1A Section are leaving nothing to chance ahead of the May 20 celebrations. As preparations for Cameroon’s National Day celebrations gather pace nationwide, the CPDM Bui 1A Section is intensifying efforts to ensure a successful and remarkable participation in this year’s festivities. Under the leadership of the Section President Kimbif Wilfred, a series of preliminary meetings has already been organised with the objective of mobilising resources capable of facilitating the transportation and effective participation of militants at the ceremonial grounds.

The party hierarchy in Bui 1A considers the upcoming celebration not only as a patriotic duty, but also as an opportunity to demonstrate the strength, discipline and cohesion of militants behind the vision of the National President of the CPDM, Paul Biya. From the main party structure to the Women and Youth wings, consultations and planning sessions are ongoing to ensure that the section records one of its most memorable outings during the march-pass.

According to the Mayor of Kumbo Council, Mborong Venasius, strategies are being finetuned to guarantee a massive turnout not only of CPDM militants, but of the population as a whole. The various committees put in place are working on logistics, mobilisation and sensitisation in order to encourage citizens to participate freely and confidently in the national celebration.

For party officials, the 20th May festivities equally represent another important step in ongoing efforts aimed at consolidating the return of normalcy in the municipality. The atmosphere of renewed confidence witnessed during the celebration of the CPDM anniversary on March 24, where militants turned out massively, is seen as proof that constant engagement with grassroots supporters continues to yield positive results. Mayor Mborong Venasius noted that the impressive participation recorded during the party anniversary celebrations was largely due to sustained interaction with the base and the commitment of militants to party ideals. Building on that momentum, the section leadership is determined to leave nothing to chance ahead of National Day celebrations. Known nationwide for its colourful and disciplined demonstrations during march-pasts, the CPDM in Bui 1A is therefore focused on putting the necessary logistics in place to ensure a successful outcome. Beyond the political symbolism, party leaders insist that the active participation of the population in national events remains essential in strengthening social cohesion, patriotism and confidence in public institutions.
