Ngoketunjia I Section : YCPDM Offers Scholarship to Some 80 Youths

They are getting set to turn a new page in the coming days as they will be offered Scholarships and trained in Information and Communication Technology.

This is within the framework of the youth wing of the party’s activities in Ndop to remobilize the youth by encouraging them to dare. Local authorities of the section want the youth to braze up and take their future in their own hands.
This initiative is of Pius Mingo, YCPDM section president who has not stopped to encourage the young people in the section to plan and build the future they want now is just one of several overtime. The ICT and Scholarship training will commence on June 26, 2023 at the Semsam Computer training institute, situated in the Obili neighborhood in Yaounde. According to Pius Mingo, “Programs like this will enable them bounce back, stronger than before from the effects of the crisis. By this, we plan to embolden them and ensure that they can face the future fearlessly”, he said.
He has launched a call for application from over 80 youths.
Pius Mingo is a lover of Cameroon’s peace, unity and development. By this gesture, he plans to bring his contribution to nation building. He has been making several developmental endeavors in the division, all aimed at enhancing the growth of the division and the youth in particular.
The scholarship program has been repartitioned to benefit youths from all the 13 villages that make up the Ngoketunjia division namely; Ndop central sub division with its four villages, Bambalang, Bamunka, Bamessing and Bamali. These villages will each be given eight scholarship opportunities; making a total of 32. The same applies to Baboungo, Bangolan, Baba and Babessi in the Babessi sub division.
Balikumbat sub division has 16 opportunities, for 4 beneficiaries from Balikumbat, 3 from Bafanji, 3 from Bamunkumbit, 3 from Baligashu and 3 from Baligansin.
Eligible candidates must be youths and indigenes from Ngoketunjia division resident in Yaounde within the interval of the training. They must be willing to follow the program for the three months period allocated by the initiators.
Pius Mingo is an entrepreneur in diverse economic domains. Besides being the YCPDM section president, he is the national president of Bambalang youths and also the president of Bambalang development and Cultural Association.
