NGIE : Biya’s Reserve for 2025

CPDM Militants in the Momo IV Section in Ngie have maintained their choice for Paul Biya as their candidate in upcoming elections.

They reaffirmed their resolve recently during celebrations to mark the 39th edition of the party’s anniversary in Bamenda on 24 March 2024. The militants braved such odds as long distances, threats and the prevailing atmosphere of insecurity to come and give the party’s anniversary the grandeur it deserved. For a people that are recovering from an imposed crisis that has caused enormous loss of lives and property, the militants want to put their pain behind and forge ahead. In the word of Stephen Ujambeng Andong, section president; “The surest and fastest way out of this situation we are in is through the CPDM and its national President Paul Biya”, he said.
It is no longer a secret that Ngie sub division like other parts of Cameroon has benefited greatly from the CPDM and its National President. According to the section president, “We are at the eve of a very crucial election and our interest in the success of the CPDM in 2025 cannot be overemphasized. We have lost almost so much is Ngie as a result of the crisis. With the return to normalcy, the CPDM will enable us bounce back and fast. We are registering eligible voter in numbers to be able to at the appointed time give the CPDM the required and overwhelming victory which will in turn come back to us as harvest”, Ujambeng emphasized.
He acknowledged that a number of eligible voters are faced with the lack of birth certificates and identity cards. They as local authorities, together with the elite have put strategies in place to evaluate such cases and to immediately help them acquire these very important documents without which they cannot be registered.
During the March 2024 celebration the section authorities reemphasized the need for militants to love Cameroon and to stand for its peace, unity and growth of the country always. Considering the hardships that the people are facing, “We offered them some little financial support to enable them acquire basic needs such as soap and others. We continue to educate them that the CPDM will teach them to fish. As such they must register and vote for the CPDM so as to become fishers”, he insisted.
The ceremony availed the authorities to keep militants abreast with their strategy for a resounding victory in 2025. They also plan to comb every nook and cranny to recruit voters before the registration exercise folds up in August this year.
