NGIE : Section on a Steady Mobilization of CPDM Voters

CPDM local authorities in the Momo IV section in Ngie are on a decisive exercise to ensure a maximum registration of voters on the registers before the August deadline.

Stephen Ujambeng Andong, section president is leaving nothing to chance in pushing for the massive registration which he has maintained will pave the way for the much-desired peace and stability in Ngie, and the North west region. In collaboration with the elite of the section and other stake holders, they have been facilitating the registration exercise which they see as capital in the pursuit of their dream for the reconstruction of the area.
Ngie has been one of the major areas where the enemies of Cameroon’s peace styled as separatists have caused a lot of damage. The section president himself was kidnaped and imprison for three months in 2023 for organizing a CPDM meeting in Ngie. After he escaped from captivity, Ujambeng has not ceased to call for more security measures for the people and the area.
Ujambeng reiterated his stance recently in Bamenda during the 14th edition of the North West regional Assembly meeting. For someone who has experienced the cruelty of separatists, his appreciation of peace and security is completely different.
The upcoming elections in 2025 are a golden opportunity to make sure that the section makes the right choices hence the need for a massive registration. The section president has continued to decry the deplorable conditions of roads in the division, stating that “the people are going through hell. Farmers can hardly carry their produce from the farms to the markets”. He continues to plead for an acceptable livelihood for the people of his section, while encouraging them not to neglect their civic responsibilities.
He keeps making reference to the torture he was subjected to, while in captivity, insisting that these deviant behaviors and more in the section will be delt with permanently hence a return to permanent peace, growth development and stability. “One thing, our people must do the right thing which is to register and vote for the CPDM When the time comes” he insists.
