CPDM militants of the Furu -Awa section have continued to vouch for Biya’s exemplary leadership and request for him to be their candidate in upcoming presidential elections.
They reiterated their stance for the CPDM and its national President recently as they celebrated the 42nd anniversary of President Biya’s accession to the supreme magistracy. For a people ready to completely throw off shackles of hardships imposed by a senseless crisis, the section is fast retracing its steps to its glory days with the CPDM and its national president, acknowledging the exponential growth and development Furu -Awa has witnessed thanks to president Biya’s leadership.
Venasius Sama Dodoh, Deputy mayor for the Furu -Awa council affirms unapologetically that “Paul Biya is and remains the sole reason why we in Furu -Awa enjoy life to its full today. Before 1982, Furu -Awa was not known but today, thanks to Paul Biya we moved to a district and now a sub division”.
They have had to compare two things or more, and have unanimously agreed to keep hope alive with Paul Biya for 2025.
Their strong quest to right all wrongs suffered due to the crisis is their propeller. They are joining hands with Paul Biya and the CPDM to rebuild the broken walls of their community and to complete CPDM’s great works on course. Their fervent desire is to contribute positively in fashioning a Cameroon where all will live peacefully and forge growth and development.
The section boasts of numerous benefits ranging from security, a healthy education system with nursery, primary and secondary school all over the section all at acceptable and walkable distances. The health sector is said to be thriving, but like Oliver Twist they continue to ask for more. Communication is fluid, and as a boarder section with the Federal republic of Nigeria, CPDM local authorities in the Furu- Awa section have praised Paul Biya for an enabling environment to practice trade and cohabit peacefully with their Nigerian neighbors. These and more are palpable reasons why they clamor for Biya’s candidacy for 2025. Understandably, Biya’s wisdom in the management of the crisis in the English-speaking regions and the gradual return of peace has emboldened them. “We hold public manifestations again, and our people wear their CPDM uniforms to party gatherings without any fear”, Sama Dodoh affirmed.
CPDM is the only party that stands for the interest of all Cameroonians without exception. Militants in the Furu -Awa section have found this out and are putting every effort to brave challenges to this great vision of the Head of State. It is believed that come 2025 they will vote for CPDM’s candidate bearing in mind that their expectations for the wellbeing of the nation will be met.
