Education and Peace in Ndop : Youths to be Ambassadors

The call was made by Hon. Njinkum Musa, Member of Parliament for Ngoketunjia North Constituency on February 11 during celebrations marking the 2025 youth day.

The member of parliament for Ngoketunjia North constituency addressed the strong message to all youths of Ndop and its environs He emphasized that education remains the key to success, urging students in his constituency to focus on their education. Hon Njingum Musa cautioned the youth to strive always for excellence if they must secure a bright future for themselves. This he said will go a long way to make them “contribute meaningfully to nation building as a means to foster the development of Cameroon”.

Talking still on the subject, he touched the vexing problem of the crisis, calling on those of the youths in the constituency who might have been misled to contribute partially or fully in the evil activities of separatist fighters to back off immediately.

Njingum Musa emphatically called for a complete turnaround of these youths from any thing that is criminal, reassuring them that “it is more honourable to earn a living worthily than to compromise and end up relocating to the bushes like some of their peers”. He also urged them to accept the olive branch of peace extended by the Head of State Paul Biya, for the growth and development of the constituency.

Njingum Musa pleaded with those who have taken up arms against the nation and their people to lay them down. He insisted on them to join hands so together they rebuild their ruins.

The ceremony was highly attended by local authorities of the CPDM party, religious and traditional authorities. All of them followed the message of the MP with rapt attention.

In the words of the CPDM section president for the Ngoketunjia 1 section, Dr. Daniel Ntoh Belinka, “there is an air of great enthusiasm in the constituency and the return of calm avails the people with the willingness to pick up their pieces and join the development train of the nation of Cameroon”, he said.

The importance of a message of this magnitude to the youth in an electoral year such as 2025 cannot be overemphasized. They are thus to get registered and to get ready to vote for the CPDM when the time comes.
