Widikum : Youths Gear Up for February 11

They are resolved to put Senator Francis Enwe’s call for peace during his 12 October 2024 home coming to Action.

YCPDM Militants joined the CPDM and WCPDM wings to welcome Senator Francis Enwe home on 12 October 2024, promising to contribute in the peace and development of the Momo west Constituency.

Their resolve followed deep truths spoken to them in tears from a heart of forgiveness by senator Enwe home seven years after. He had given them so much to empower them and ensure they grow into good and responsible citizens. However, some had taken to criminality; joining separatists. As a consequence of their derailment, the compound of the senator was razed.

The 12 October home coming was thus a reconciliation time during which Senator Enwe, who reserved a hero’s welcome gave directives on how they could together join hands and pick up their pieces. Four months after, the 2025 Youth Day celebration on 11 February will be a perfect time to evaluate commitment made by these youths to move from their wrong ways to positively participate in national life.

The senator has continued to call on the youths to prioritize unity, peace, and national progress, insisting that the youths use their talents and youthfulness to champion growth and unity. Enwe wants youths of his Constituency to love Cameroon and to build it.  To do this they must register and vote for the right party that will bring their aspirations to a reality. Their participation at national events like the upcoming youth day is also proof of their resolve to advance the cause of nation building and development.

These and more reasons by the senator have inspired the youths who have accepted Enwe’s message of hope and inclusion.

The upcoming youth day is a timely opportunity to evaluate the commitment taken by these youths and how serious they are to Cameroon’s peace and unity. Senator Enwe’s call for peace amongst youths in a region scarred by conflict is a reassurance to the CPDM of their readiness for 2025.

The senator has rekindled hope and reconciliation amongst youths in the constituency reassuring them of the CPDM party’s desire to continue to build an ever strong and thriving Cameroon for all.
