It was in fulfillment of a promise made to them by the Senator on a previous event when he was made the Peace ambassador for the region.  Enwe Francis promised to help these young Cameroonians carry out their activity responsibly and on the 6th of March 2025 at the Ayaba Hotel esplanade he fulfilled his promise.  The over a hundred bike riders who had turn up to receive their gift from the senator said their gratitude, promising to support all endeavors by the Senator  to bring lasting peace to the region. Senator Enwe’s push to empower the youth through Senator constant encouragements and kind gestures is yielding great fruits. As Francis Enwe handed them licenses he emphasized the need for them to be agents of peace.  As a man of the people and friend of bike riders, Francis Enwe told these young Cameroonians that “I believe in your future, be positive and carry out your job responsibly. Strive to be positive contributors and valuable actors of the growth and development of our beautiful North West region.  Together we will make this region beautiful again”, he insisted.

A call which was well received by the bike rides whose joy and satisfaction was expressed by their President, Ndi  Mayeme on their behalf. “We the bike riders union of Mezam are thrilled by this wonderful gesture from our elder brother. We expressed our worries to him some months back due to the difficulties we were faced with as we went about our activity. Most of our colleagues lacked licenses, they constantly got in trouble WITH security officers and some were exposed to accidents and other mishaps as they tried to dodge controls. This gesture has come to solve a great problem and we are very grateful”, he said.

The Senator has cautioned them to value their lives and not indulge in any criminal activities. He also instructed them to encourage their brothers who are in the bushes to accept to call of the Head of State and come out. “Your contribution to nation building is key and you must take it serious, you are the future” Enwe emphasized. He reminded them that 2025 is an electoral year and they have a huge responsibility to register and vote. “You must not yield to any manipulations from individuals or groups”, Senator Frincis Enwe cautioned.

It was a beautiful moment for both parties who told themselves nothing but the truth and concluded that they will work together for the development of the region. In acknowledgement of the senator’s goodwill, the bike riders offered him a gift of a goat, promising to keep the instructions.
