The Italy Section of the CPDM recently extended condolences to the family of Eyobo Josiane who passed away on 21 May 2025.
Following the de mise of Eyobo Josiane on 21 May, the Section Executive sprang into action to condole the bereaved family and provide financial assistance for the funeral.
In a display of solidarity, the Section Executive, led by the President Eric Serge Sandjo Tonga, convened an extraordinary meeting on 29 May 2025, to discuss ways to support the family. The meeting resulted in a unanimous decision to extend a fraternal hand of solidarity and support to the family, recognizing Comrade Eyobo’s exemplary sense of duty, civic spirit, and loyalty to the Party and state institutions.
To achieve this, the Section Executive resolved to make a collective contribution, with each member contributing whatever they could afford. Subsection Executives, Cell executives, and militants were also encouraged to make donations according to their means.
This heartwarming gesture demonstrates the CPDM’s commitment to standing in solidarity with its members, not just during party-related meetings, but in times of need. The Party’s values of camaraderie, empathy, and support are evident in the way its members have rallied around the bereaved family.
The CPDM Italy Section’s initiative is proof of the Party’s dedication to its members, both in good times and bad. By providing financial assistance and emotional support, the Party has shown that it values the well-being of its members and their families.
This remarkable display of solidarity will undoubtedly strengthen the bonds within the Party and reinforce its reputation as a family-oriented organization that cares for its own.
