Held under the theme “Tackling the Presidential elections in the Upper Plateau”, the Section conference in Bangou availed the executive and militants the opportunity to examine their level of preparedness ahead of the October rendez-vous.
The CPDM Upper Plateau South Section in Bangou, West Region held its highly anticipated conference on Friday, June 28, in the Bangou Town Hall, under the dynamic leadership of Section President Hon. Datouo Théodore, also the Vice President of the National Assembly. The conference brought together militants from the three wings of the Party – CPDM, WCPDM, and YCPDM – to strategize on how to tackle the upcoming presidential elections in the Upper Plateau division.
With the theme « Tackling the Presidential Elections in Upper Plateau Division, » the conference served as a platform for the party’s militants to reaffirm their commitment to ensuring a massive victory for their candidate. The atmosphere was electric, with calls for unity and solidarity among the sons and daughters of Upper Plateau. The militants were urged to abstain from all acts that jeopardize living together while working tirelessly to secure a landslide victory for their candidate.
A key takeaway from the conference was the commitment to intensify voter registration. The militants pledged to mobilize their fellow party members and fence-sitters who are yet to register to do so in time to collect their voter’s cards. This proactive approach is expected to significantly boost the party’s chances of success in the October presidential election.
In a show of determination and solidarity, the militants vowed to strengthen their support and internal cohesion within the CPDM. By doing so, they aim to consolidate the greater opportunities for an effective emergence of Cameroon.
