For a Resounding Victory in the Elections : Manyu Division Unites, Charts Winning Path

This was during a strategic meeting held at the Mamfe town hall on Friday September 5, attended by over 2000 political elites, community leaders, and supporters of the CPDM with the aim of ensuring a landslide victory for President Paul Biya in the upcoming presidential elections on October 12, 2025.

The meeting, convened by Minister Victor Mengot, Head of the Permanent Divisional Delegation of the Central Committee of the CPDM for Manyu, focused on a thorough stocktaking of the party’s preparations across the four sections of Manyu. Minister Mengot emphasized the critical importance of this gathering, stating, “the stakes could not be higher,” and called on attendees to reaffirm their “unshakable loyalty and unwavering commitment to our great party.” The meeting was far from being an arena to celebrate past successes. It was the platform for the political elite to analyse meticulously their strengths and weaknesses, identifying potential challenges, and formulating a robust, comprehensive strategy to overcome them, in light of the upcoming presidential election.

During the session, participants engaged in constructive dialogue about grassroots mobilization, communication strategies, and voter registration efforts. Minister Mengot articulated a clear mission “we are here to chart a winning path, a strategy that ensures that when the ballots are counted, Manyu is once again painted in bold CPDM colours.”

A comprehensive budget of 50 million FCFA was adopted, with fundraising initiatives already yielding over 25 million FCFA. The funding will support campaign activities, logistics, and mobilization efforts, which the Minister highlighted as essential for success. “Campaigns are not won with goodwill alone. They require substantial resources,” he said.

The meeting also underscored the importance of unity among party members. “The success of our campaign hinges on our collective effort. Let us put aside personal differences, egos, and rivalries,” Minister Mengot urged, reinforcing that “what unites us – the vision of a united, peaceful and prosperous Cameroon is far more important than what divides us.”

The meeting concluded with the reading of a motion of thanks and support for Paul Biya, encapsulating the spirit of determination that characterized the gathering. The political elite of Manyu Division have renewed their sense of purpose, ready to mobilize for a decisive victory in the upcoming elections. As the October 12 date approaches, the people of Manyu stand united, prepared to demonstrate their strength and resilience, ensuring their voices are heard loud and clear.
