Kumba : PM Boosts Biya’s Campaign, Inaugurate Giant Projects 

Dr Chief Joseph Dion Ngute, while on a special campaign visit to Kumba, inaugurated the FCFA 200.000.000 Kumba grandstand and the FCFA 6 billion Ntoko street- Railway express road.

Accompanied by Minister Paul Tasong, and other members of government, Joseph Dion Ngute on Wednesday October 8, stormed the city of Kumba with a special appeal to the Kumba population to continue their long partnership with President Biya.

The PM used the visit to inaugurate two giant Projects executed by the government in the city of Kumba. The newly constructed ultra-modern grandstand worth over FCFA 200.000.000 and the Ntoko street- Railway express road worth over FCFA 6 billion. 

These two projects that have greatly changed the face of Kumba, are direct government investment projects allocated to Kumba by President Paul Biya.

The PM equally visited the ongoing construction of the Kumba Gas plant under construction.

The high-power delegation was received by the supervisor of President Biya’s campaign in the South West, senator Nfon Mukete Ekoko, the member of Parliament for Kumba Urban, Tabot Lawson Bakia, Senator Otte Andrew Mofa, Justice Benjamin Itoe, the Meme administration, traditional rulers among others.

The host Section President, Honourable Tabot Lawson Bakia, stated with confidence that the only threat to the CPDM in Kumba was the SDF, but that at the moment, the SDF was dead and buried in Kumba. To the section president, the visit of the MP who is a born Kumba child, has risen the victory margin of the CPDM from 70 to 95 percent.  » You can see for yourself Mr. PM that Kumba population is all out to receive you. This is due to their conviction and trust in President Biya. Kumba people have tested the opposition and have discovered that nothing good can come from them. They have chosen the CPDM party and are ready to die with the CPDM« . The Section President noted that the Kumba people will deliver the vote for Biya in order to guarantee the continuous stay of the PM, a Kumba son, at the star building.

Nfon Mukete Ekoko, speaking on behalf of traditional rulers in Meme Division, highlighted the role chiefs play in administration. He said all chiefdoms are bound to support the government in order to attract development for their respective communities. Nfon Mukete Ekoko pleaded with the population not to be cajole into errors of the opposition as such will only pull the city backward. “We must support President Biya because he has bestowed trust on our son. To show gratitude, we must turn out massively and vote come October 12« .

The PM said « I have noted all the preoccupations raised by the Kumba city mayor. Let me tell you with all confidence that President Biya will provide solutions to them gradually. Kumba is my home… the people of Kumba will continue to eat ripe fruits« .
