Ngie : CPDM Militants to Bolster Peace Efforts

After the historic visit of Pope Leo XIV, local authorities of the Momo IV Section of the CPDM are considering a better approach to politics that brings lasting peace and unity.

The spark of joy, love and peace that came with the visit of Pope Leo XIV last April 15 to 18 has served as a great eye opener to many. Stephen Ujambeng, section president of Momo IV section in Ngie has termed the visit as a life time opportunity whose success story will reshape the inhabitants of North West region particularly and militants of the CPDM in Ngie specifically.

From his political view point, Stephen Ujambeng holds that this visit and it impact will “Spur CPDM militant in the region and in the Momo IV section to seek peace at all times even in politics”, he insisted. The section president together with a strong delegation from his section and Momo division were present to commune with the Pope.  In Ujambeng’s words, “I have learned great lessons from the Pope Leo’s visit. I saw love and humility in a person. My perception of life, love and peace has changed. Love and peace to me are no longer mere slogans but practical day to day life style. People are the key and when we talk love it is love for one another as humans. We must protect and preserve lives. The crisis that has rocked the North West region and the Momo IV section for the last few years could have been avoided had love been the driving force in people”.

The Pope’s visit has come to clear a lot, highlight the good will of the ever-peace-loving President Paul Biya of Cameroon. “I found out that the Head of State and National President of the CPDM who has done everything to ensure the peace and unity of Cameroon will stop at nothing to achieve it. He brought the Pope so that prayers be made for Cameroonians and Cameroon against the evil plans of the devil against the nation”, the section president shared.

Stephen Ujambeng is a peace advocate for the Momo IV section of the CPDM in Ngie. He is also a member of the North west regional council, who stands strongly for the permanent return of peace and unity in the North west region and in Ngie. Ujambeng Stephen is a strong supporter of President Biya’s relentless push for peace and stability in Cameroon.

Having been bolstered by the graceful words of Pope Leo, he plans to step up everything he does to give particular attention to true and lasting peace especially in Ngie.

Politics is not war and the growth and development of a nation cannot be achieved through strife. Cameroon is thus looking forward to a brighter future in peace unity and love through the CPDM and politics.
