Ngoketunjia : Regional Election Train on a 100% Course

Following the official launch of campaigns on Saturday 15 November for the November 30, 2025 regional elections in the division; focus is now on a mutually agreed 100% vote for the CPDM.

The meeting, presided at by Uphie Chinje Melo, Head of the Divisional Permanent Delegation for Ngoketunjia had the greatest number stake holders in the division including His Excellency Prof. Ghoghmu Paul, Hon. Njingum Musa and a cream of Ngoketunjia elite and members of the divisional and communal campaign teams in attendance. The over 65 municipal councilors present at the launch, all aspirants for the Regional election received clear and precise directives with great emphasis on the importance of this election to the party’s wellbeing.

In the words of Uphie Chinje, “All councilors should and must vote in the exercise. Nothing justifies the fact that any councilor would choose to play dirty by not casting their votes knowing how important these votes count for the credibility of the CPDM”, she said.

Ngoketunjia is situated in the North West region where the people are reclaiming a special status. “It is imperative for all to take their responsibilities, be implicated most especially given government’s support by the putting in place of decentralized structures to ensure that we do our work well, so let’s get at it by demonstrating that every candidate, every councilor has accepted to take part in the decentralization bead and to help in the empowerment process of the little community they represent”, Uphie insisted.

Other speakers like the Hon. Njingum Musa took the stage and emphasized that the crisis in the region has taken a great toll on its economy and the livelihood of the people. Voting for the CPDM is therefore the right thing to do as it will trigger and pursue the much-desired growth, development and above all the undeniable reconstruction of the region entirely. The regional election thus avails a golden opportunity to cue in and enjoy lofty benefits as prescribed by President Paul Biya and the CPDM in this seventh and very determining mandate for Cameroon.

The CPDM (Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement) being a proactive force must play its role as a catalyst, campaigning in this direction and resolutely guiding public authorities toward a virtuous path.

An expected number of 97 councilors are expected to vote for the CPDM in this election in all Ngoketunjia division come November 30,2025. This is the only way they can hit the 100% target.
