Youth under education : Momo MP Bridges gap

Pupils and students in Mbengwi can now join their peers in the classrooms for the 2021/2022 academic year.

They were offered school needs by Hon. Foo Ngang Injoh Prudencia, MP for Momo East constituency recently. The event took place at the Mbengwi council recently as children who have been held home due to the crises turned out massively to tap from the generosity of the MP.
Hon. Injoh Foo Ngang knows the importance of education. This explains why she has stepped in to save the future of the children by providing them with the necessary tools they require for their education. She has provided the children of Mbengwi with school bags, books pens and pencils. To encourage children who performed well in public examinations like the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and the Common Entrance, she gave cash prizes. Hon. Foo Ngang also the teachers encouraged to put the education of the children first because “they are the future of tomorrow”, she said.
Lamenting on the crisis and the effect on education of children the MP said, “What is happening right now is partly because the children in the bushes lack education. This is the reason why people of bad fate have taken advantage of them and are using them for their wicked and selfish agenda”.
It is hoped that through prayers the few misguided children who are in the bushes will come back to their senses, yield to the call of the Head of State for them to drop their weapons and regain their normal lives.
Providing education for all the children in the Momo East is therefore a right step in a right direction as it will give the children a sound education and enable them to make good and responsible choices in life for the good of the society at large.
