Mezam 1C Joint Section Conference : CPDM to Eject Opposition from Bamenda III

Mezam 1C Section President, Che Ndaka Nicolas has revealed that over one thousand new militants and sympathizers of the CPDM have registered into the electoral register of ELECAM within his jurisdiction.

Revealed as key strategy to bury the opposition in Bamenda III, is one among giant steps discussed during the maiden Section joint Conference of Mezam 1C. It held this February 18 in Bamenda. To buttress the tough battle staged against any existing opposition in this municipality, the Section boss, Che Ndaka Nicolas equally disclosed that over 10 opposition party militants; most of whom are former councilors have cross-carpeted to the team that is set for victory.
“The opposition is failing, we are gradually sending them to their grave, we’ve killed them but we have not yet buried them but I’m sure, subsequently the burial will take place and that’s why some of their militants are crossing the carpet. In 2025, we will be talking about the CPDM in Bamenda III Council,” Ndaka Nicolas boasts while urging his militants to secure the party victory by getting themselves registered into the electoral register.
“The yearly registration of voters started in January and shall end on August 31st 2023. We are hereby calling on all subsections to facilitate the exercise vigorously by identifying all militants and sympathizers to put their names on the electoral list. We are going to reward subsections that perform very well,” he encourages.
Mezam 1C has thus set the record as the first Section in North West to hold a conference on the soil of the troubled region since 2016. Its growing militancy base comprising fifteen subsections prides itself of having participated in all party manifestations since inception in 2016, national day celebrations and is on record as the brave Section that challenged the ghost town operations in 2017, marching from Mile Four Nkwen to Commercial Avenue to denounce the civil disobedience.
Regretting the absence of their militants in state appointments and the unemployed youth who constitute 80% of the Section’s militants, the President lamented that his Section is limping financially and would only rely on party allocations and donations from party elite in the region to mobilize militants. The challenges notwithstanding, their unflinching support to the Head of State and the ruling CPDM is “unstoppable,” Ndaka assures.
The conference was organized on the theme: “Unity, Development and Consolidation for Peace” with representative of North Wesr Governor, representative of CPDM Mezam Divisional Delegation Head, MP for Bamenda Central, Regional Assembly representatives among other dignitaries in attendance.
