Limbe : Dual Celebration

Militants especially the youth will apart from the usually feasting, use the occasion to celebrate the election of the new City Mayor and to thank the hierarchy of the party.

Celebrations marking the 37th anniversary of the CPDM party will be effected in Limbe on two folds. Firstly, the militants as others across the national territory and abroad will embark on the normal euphoria of feasting, and secondly, the youths of the three sections and Fako IB in particular will be celebrating in grand style the election of the new city mayor, Paul Efome Lisombe Ngale. The militants headed by youth of Fako IB, the section of the City mayor, will galvanized the other sections, to ensure that they celebrate with much fanfare the choice of their city mayor by the party hierarchy. The CPDM party hierarchy has proven to the youths that they are truly the leaders of tomorrow. The youth must also convince hierarchy that they are fit for the task by giving the city mayor the maximum support and collaboration to ensure that he succeeds in the challenging tasks. The development of Limbe remains the responsibility of the entire population, and the youth being the active segment of the population, must stand ahead of all endeavours. “We are assuring the hierarchy of our party that we wouldn’t disappoint them”. This was the commitment taken by the youth of Limbe during a meeting with the new city mayor.
Ahead of the anniversary, militants will embark on a keep clean campaign across the three sections, football games for both men and women categories will be organise, traditional and cultural competition as well as march passed, are among some of the activities programmed to be carried out on the D-Day.
As for the choice of the city mayor, the youth have pledged their total loyalty to the party, and trust to the ideals of the CPDM. The confidence bestowed on one of theirs as city mayor, they say it’s worth giving thanks to the party hierarchy. The 44 year old city mayor, who stands out as the youngest city mayor in Cameroon,   must be seen as a special favour for the youths and the population of Limbe, the youths declare.
Shortly after the election of Paul Efome Lisombe Ngale as city mayor, the militants of CPDM Fako IB and the youths, paid a courtesy visit to the city mayor, where they addressed a motion of gratitude to the CPDM National President. They planned to use the upcoming anniversary to reaffirm their unflinching support to the party, and to continue to work for victory in all elections.
