Condolence Visit : Jean Nkuété Comforts Enanga Kebbi’s Family

The SG of the Central Committee of the CPDM alongside some members of the General Secretariat went to express the heartfelt condolence of the National President and the entire CPDM family.

The delegation that accompanied the SG to late Enanga Kebbi Juliana’s residence at the Effoulan neighbourhood in Yaounde bore the weight of the loss of a valiant comrade as they entered her home on Tuesday 25 October 2022. At the entrance of the late comrade’s home was a framed picture of the deceased, wearing her usual broad smile, an image that contrasted the atmosphere in the living room. After the normal exchange of civilities, Jean Nkuété took the floor to address members of the family present. He appreciated late Enanga Kebbi for the work she did for the Party in close to three decades of service while recalling how jovial and light hearted she was. He expressed the condolence of the National president and militants of the CPDM to the family. He said the Party stands with its militants at all times and it had been the case with their collaborator before her demise on 13 September 2022. Jean Nkuété entreated the children to be courageous as he acknowledged that it was a difficult moment to overcome.
Lucy Monjowa Kebbi, sister of the late comrade and family head on behalf of the entire family thanked the SG and his suit for showing such great concern towards them. She appreciated the show of solidarity and recalled that her sister had had a great time serving the Party. The deceased son, Joseph Kebbi did not hide his joy at seeing the delegation that had come to mourn the loss of their mother. Even in that sad moment, he had a wry smile as he recalled how he watched his mother present the Party’s propaganda programme over national television from a tender age.
Members of the General secretariat who accompanied the SG included Minister Gregroire Owona Deputy SG, Minister Talba Malla, Secretary of Organisation, Mr. Jean Fabien Monkam, Advicer, Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle Director of the CPDM Academy, Badel Ndanga Dinga deputy Secretary for Culture, Education and Environment amongst others.
