WIDIKUM : Section Re-commits to CPDM

Militants in Momo V have resolved to carry out party activities with renewed zeal as a proof that the CPDM incarnates the future.

They made the commitments in Bamenda on Saturday November 6 during the commemoration of President Biya’s accession to power. Guided by their section President Akwa Stephen, militants came out massively to commemorate the day in the presence of the CPDM Regional Coordinator, Philemon Yang. After the grand regional parade, militants of Momo V section gathered to chat the course of the party in their section.
Addressing the militants, Section President Akwa Stephen thanked them for trusting him with the task to lead the party for another five years. He pleaded for a total collaboration from all the militants as he reassured them of his willingness to work with them so together they can bring positive result for the CPDM.
For braving the security challenge and attending the event, Akwa acknowledged the bravery of the militants.
He also pleaded on the militants to mend all fissures. Those who were not voted in the just ended reorganisation exercise still won, he said, calling on all to forge ahead as a family in unity of purpose.
Present at the meeting were, Magdalen Tehbueh Anyi, WPDM Section President, Akiubeni Luis Tendong, YCPDM Section President; Nyah Eric, Secretary, Andoh Stanislus, Mayor; Ivo Chia Mungwa, Divisional Officer and a host of militants.
To the Mayor, the Section President called for greater commitment in party activities.
Also during their exchanges, they took commitments to bring positive impact in their different spheres.
The WCPDM President, promised mobilise the women to stand firm for the party and encourage them to be exemplary wives and mothers.
The YCPDM President, talking about the security challenges in the region said he will encourage the youth to be creative and to shun all crime related temptations.
Nyah Eric, pleaded that councillor who could not make it to Bamenda should not cultivate the habit of absenting from meetings.
