Assistance to Muslims : Bui V Section Vice-president Makes Donation

Festus Forgwei who is also assistant Mayor of Noni offered cartons of sugar to the Muslim community, at the start of the fasting period.

As a fervent militant of the CPDM and one who worries about the wellbeing of the population, the Section vice president for Bui V – Noni saw the necessity to extend a hand of fellowship to his brothers of the Muslim faith. In a bid to accompany them during the fasting that precedes the feast of the Ramadan, Festus Forgwei donated some fifty cartons of sugar that were handed over by the Divisional officer, Banla Emmanuel Kisob.
The CPDM is a rallying party and one that stands beside the people, no matter their political leaning and it is in this vein that the vice president seized the opportunity to share and communion with the Muslims of his community at a time when many are hard up due to the ongoing crisis that has stalled many activities.
It is in keeping with a tradition initiated by his late brother, former Section President Alfred Forgwei, that the diehard CPDM militant offered the gift that was appreciated by the head of the Muslim community. He lauded the Vice president for giving them a commodity considered basic but which is vital during this period of fasting. He further offered prayers to Allah, calling on him to bless the benefactor and also help end the crisis in the Anglophone regions for life to return to normal.
Festus Forgwei who was elected vice Section president during the last renewals of basic organs of the Party is working with the team for a return of peace and tranquillity in the area. Since the socio-political situation grounded party activities in the region, he as well as other elite are using such opportunities to preach love and tolerance for one another. Through the CPDM, Festus Forgwei intends to rally his kith and kin support president Biya’s vision of ferrying Cameroon to emergence. He is aware that no action is insignificant, as through little actions, great impact can be made.
